“ The husband and I have been waiting for the summer crowds to thin out to try Madeline’s. It was definitely worth the wait. While not exactly the shawarma we remember fondly from our years in Europe, the flavors were wonderful. I ordered the beef and the husband ordered the chicken. The shawarma came cut in half so we each tried half of each. The chicken had a nice sharp garlic kick and the beef had a great Mediterranean flavor. The restaurant is rather small but has indoor seating and a couple of outdoor bistro-style tables as well. The food took a bit to get, but we didn’t mind the wait and used the time to see the large photos on the walls. ”
